Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma wedding pics: Wishes pour in for the new couple
The news was so closely followed by media and fans that it was atrending topic on Twitter and the couple was nicknamed "Virushka".
Sharing the news with his fans on Twitter, Virat Kohli posted a heart-melting photo from the big fat Punjabi wedding and said: "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love for ever."

Speculations of wedding bells ringing were rife as Anushka Sharma and entire family were seen leaving to Italy from Mumbai International airport. But the couple kept the news under wraps until the ceremony was finally over.
Anushka wore a beautiful pale pink sequined lehenga designed by Sabyasachi and a traditional nose ring and chunky jewellery while she kept her makeup minimal. The bride was blushing and smiling through the ceremony. Virat was dressed in a pale-coloured sherwani also by Sabyasachi, and topped it with a sehra and the couple looked very much in love.
The big fat Punjabi wedding included engagement, sangeet, mehendi and haldi ceremonies. Anushka was seen in lehengas and sarees and favoured shades of Pink from Sabyasachi couture for the wedding days.
The couple will throw a reception for family and relatives on December 21st in Delhi and will throw another wedding party for Bollywood and cricket industry friends in Mumbai on Boxing Day - December 26th.
Superstar and co-actor Shah Rukh Khan wished the couple saying: "Ab yeh hui na real Rab ne Bana di Jodi. May God bless you with happiness and health". Meanshile Jacqueline Fernandes tweeted, "So, so happy for you. Such a gorgeous bride."
