Trisha has shared two stills related to the film and the audience and her fans have already expressed their excitement and enthusiasm by responding positively on social media sites. The stills already give a glimpse of the horror-comedy genre of the film. One still shows Trisha sitting in a throne in a traditional south Indian silk saree and jewellery but with a sharp knife in her hand. The second still is black & white and shows Trisha recreate the retro magic of the 50s in a saree and an umbrella and a head-bun.

Another still shared by the director shows a quirky Trisha wear a traditional blouse and saree teamed with skinny jeans.

Nayaki or Nayagi will also feature other actors in prominent roles including Kovai Sarala, Satyan Rajesh, and Jaya Prakash among others. In the critically acclaimed film Abhiyum Naanum, Ganesh Venkatraman played the character of the intelligent Sikh sardar who marries Abhi (Trisha).
