Priyanka Chopra in London City! Here to promote Quantico and celebrate mum’s birthday
The ever-talented Padma Shri actor has a packed schedule on Friday in London including press interviews and Quantico promotions. Posting a picture of her dressed in a chic black off-shoulder dress from Peter Pilotto collection on Instagram and Twitter, Priyanka said: “Taking the day head on in Peter Pilotto.”
The international star didn’t seem to mind the quintessential summer rains in London. When welcomed by her UK fans on Twitter almost apologizing for the rains, the actress responded saying: “I'm actually loving London. And the rains and the press!!! Full on fun.”
While in London, she also made sure she treated her mother Madhu Chopra to a birthday meal at a London restaurant on Thursday night.
She said: “Birthday night in London Town.”
She also tweeted a photo of London rains on her journey from the airport saying, “Something so poetic about the rain.”
UK digital broadcasting service Alibi (part of UKTV network of channels) acquired the rights to broadcast Quantico series – the American primetime television show which stars Priyanka Chopra as the lead character Alex Parish.
The actress who has said in multiple interviews that she “almost lives on a plane” because of her hectic travel schedule for filming and promotional activities will be in London, Paris and NYC to promote Quantico in the next few days.
Among her many accolades this year, Priyanka Chopra was honoured with a Padma Shri by the Indian government and she also made it to the cover of Time magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World
