Shaad Ali’s OK Jaanu trailer is out now! The film stars Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur as a modern-day couple who value their careers, freedom and love equally. Many tweeters call it a modern-day Saathiya, which was also directed by Shaad Ali.

OK Jaanu, directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Mani Ratnam and Karan Johar, is the official remake of Tamil blockbuster film OK Kanmani (O Kadhal Kanmani). OK Kanmani starred Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in lead roles.

In the Bollywood version, Aditya Roy Kapur plays the character Aditya and Shraddha Kapoor is Tara who are city-bred ambitious youngsters. OK Jaanu plot - Tara wants to study architecture in Paris while Adi wants to go to the US for developing video games and participate in tech competition. They want to live their lives to the full until they part ways. But love is complicated and they realise that their “figure out karlenge” motto isn’t after all that easy. “Will ambition prevail over matters of the heart?” – that’s what the film is all about

OK Jaanu trailer is a gripping modern day no-strings attached romance and the highlights of the trailer are simple yet beautiful looking Shraddha Roy Kapoor, a cool Aditya Roy Kapoor, their infectious chemistry, Naseeruddin Shah as a wise old man, AR Rahman’s music and Bombay streets.
