One of Bollywood's most versatile actors Irrfan Khan is known for his intense, character-heavy roles but his new item and party song for All India Bakchod (AIB) on YouTube goes viral garnering nearly 2 million views in just over one day.

Irrfan Khan gets into character for Bollywood party song for AIB

The Bollywood party song satirizes the typecast sizzling item numbers that make it to the top of the music charts. The 6-minute video starts off with Irrfan Khan self-praising his talent and acting skills by bragging about his performances in Maqbool, Lunchbox and Piku. But the AIB team challenges him saying he has never performed the iconic Bollywood party song or an item, number.

Irrfan Khan rubbishes the suggestion saying party song requires no talent just women dressed in skimpy clothes, tilted camera angles and jazzy lights. He then takes on the challenge to make a Bollywood party song. Rest of the video shows Irrfan Khan as the item boy in the party song written specially by AIB for Irrfan. Much of the lyrics of the song satirizes typical Bollywood party songs with Irrfan saying that by adding a meaningless party song, the films can go on to make 100 crores in the box office.

According to Irrfan's fans on YouTube and Twitter, the song shows a different, lighter side to the actor (although he is still sulking and has a matter-of-fact expression on his face throughout the son. The fans welcomed the refreshing side to Irfan Khan making the song viral in 24 hours.
