The 2018 Commonwealth Games, also known as the Gold Coast 2018 (GC2018) is taking place in Gold Coast and event cities Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville in Australia from April 4th to April 15th 2018. As of 9th April, England ranked 2nd (with 63 medals) and India 3rd (19 medals) in the medal table!

Here is the full medal tally for Commonwealth Games (CWG 2018) including country ranks, total number of gold, silver and bronze medals. Australia is first in the medal table followed by England and India took an impressive fourth place just behind Canada. Keep watching this space for medal tally update.

The 2018 Commonwealth Games (CWG) will host a total of 6,600 athletes and team officials from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories to celebrate sport, entertainment and culture that bonds the nations together.

The GC2018 is touted as the largest and most high-profile sporting event staged in Australia this decade featuring integrated sports program in Commonwealth Games history including 18 sports and seven para-sports.

This year will also mark the debut of Beach Volleyball, Para Triathlon and Women’s Rugby Sevens at Commonwealth Games. The planning, organising and managing committee for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) was established in January 2012.
